He convincingly imitated the singers Gregorio Barrios, Vicente Celestino, Cauby Peixoto and the humorists Amácio Mazzaropi and Ronald Golias.

And that's how he became a host of programs, adding up his characteristics.

In 1967, José Vasconcellos, who was host of a show on TV Excelsior, gave up and replaced him in the nick of time, premiering the show Room.

In 1973 he signed with RecordTV and premiered the program which later went to Bandeirantes, Tupi, TV Rio and Manchete.

His traditional style program was on all major television networks in Brazil, except Rede Globo and RedeTV !.

 In 2010, he agreed to return to SBT, where he had worked from 1981 to 1984. In December 2016, he announced that he would leave SBT in 2017 but his contract was renewed in January 2017.
